RiverCityWeather.Net is shutting down as of September 19, 2012.
It is a sad day for me, this site has been one of my babies for many years (close to 10), but I have decided to pull the plug on RiverCityWeather.Net. There are many factors, including life changes. It was a great run and I thank all of the past visitors for trusting us with their weather needs.
It takes far more time and money to run this site and provide what we were providing than most people imagine. There are software costs, server costs, data pc costs, weather instrument costs, power, internet data connectivity costs and more.... not to mention time each and every day.
It is time for me to sit back and relax some without having to worry about this site. It is time for me to spend some additional time with my family and it's time to give the money back to my family that I have been giving away to strangers each and every year. Just so you know, it costs enough to run this site on a yearly basis for my family to take a pretty nice vacation!
God Bless, Take Care!
